JW Marriott Hotel Tokyo invites guests to experience refined luxury in the heart of Takanawa Gateway City. Inspired by Zen philosophy and the natural beauty of Goten-yama, the hotel offers an immersive mindfulness experience. This hotel contains 200 guest rooms, banquet halls, meeting spaces, restaurants, bars, a pool, and a spa. The interior design was envisioned by Yabu Pushelberg, with the concept of creating a serene retreat reminiscent of the tranquility once offered by Gotenyama along the historic Tokaido route—a place where guests can pause and reset.Under the designer’s direction, our firm took in charge of interior design and supervision, including development of over 100 materials such as stone, plaster, wood, and tile, as well as the refinement of details.Through the dedicated efforts of the designers, design supervisors, consultants, project managers, and contractors, a variety of comfortable spaces which fascinates became into a reality.
